Today brought some quality time with each of the kiddos.
First was time with JR at Cub Scouts. We took a nifty tour of the local Police Department. He says he wants to be a Police Officer when he grows up.

Then Nani and I did some errands together, and did a little grocery shopping.
While checking out my phone rang and Will calmly asked me where he could take Za Za to get her chin sewn up. !!!!!! WHAT?!?!? So as I am trying to swipe my card and punch in numbers, I am also trying not to panic as Will tells me that my daughter needs stitches.
So after a little adrenaline rush, I drove home and picked up Za Za and we went to an after-hours clinic to get stitched up. The nurse practitioner looked at it and said that we could get it numbed up right away. So after a little numbing gel (where was this stuff when I was a kid?) Za Za got 3 stitches in her chin. The first 2 were a breeze, but the last one was a bit of a struggle. The numbing gel hadn't quite numbed it enough so Za Za felt it and started to cry. But she was a trooper and we made it through. Oh, and how could I forget the little lipo that she had done while on the table. OK, well not really, but there was a little fatty blob that was sticking out and it wasn't wanting to go back inside, so the NP just snipped it right off.

And to make it all better we had to stop at Macey's
and get a ginormous chocolate ice cream cone. YUM!

Wow. What a day! The adventures never stop huh?
Oh no - I'm so sorry! I hope Za Za is feeling better!
Hmmmm. Maybe I should split my chin. I could use a little fatty blob snipped off; )
Glad everyone is okay!
Yuck. I don't look forward to the day one of my children splits something open. However, I have a scar in the same place as Za Za from when I got stitches as a kid. Oh, and you are welcome on our blog anytime, btw. Hope you guys are doing well (besides the stitches part!)
