Counting our Blessings in 2009

Counting our Blessing in 2009
  • Za Za turned 7
  • Nanie turned 4
  • Will turned 32
  • JR turned 9
  • and I turned 29 again
  • 1 more year of school finished for Will!!!!!
  • I'm enjoying working with the Cub Scouts (Bear Den Leader), and spending time with JR. Well actually the girls come with me to every activity, so I think they think they are cub scouts too. Once in Primary they announced there would be no cub scouts, and Za Za let out a "YEAH!".
  • Will is loving his time spent with the Young Men again, as one of the Priest Quorum Assistants. Just the other night while playing dodge ball, he accidentally broke somebody's nose. Boys.
  • Last summer my hair was as short as it has ever been, not counting infancy. I haven't cut it for 6 months, and it is finally growing out a bit.
  • He and his sister (Za Za) are both learning how to sew. Fun stuff!
  • The preschool I worked at went out of business. I now have a wonderful job that is low stress, and is perfect for my schedule.
  • Will work is good. Sometimes too good, meaning that he has lots of it and lots of homework too.
  • Will, JR and I got to be part of 2 temple dedications this past year. They were sweet experiences, and we will never forget the time that we were all together inside of the temple open houses.
  • Nani has been going to speech therapy for almost a year now. I have seen a great improvement, and she is doing so well. I never really understood what a wonderful tool that it was, but I now have a deep appreciation for it, and for her wonderful speech therapist.
  • Will and I have averted disaster numerous times on these Utah highways. Whew! We have

What was my favorite part of 2009?
