JR turned 9 this week and he wanted to hike the Y, so we set out Saturday morning. It had rained and was kinda cool and we anticipated getting rained on. It barely sprinkled and then the sun came out when we had our picnic by the Y.

JR found a white praying mantis along the trail. Cool!

Hope you had a Happy Birthday JR!!! Sorry we are loser friends and forgot to call!! We loved seeing you guys! We had a blast! Although it made us miss having you guys here! Thanks for those oh so yummy tortillas-it's a good thing Dave doesn't work in Phoenix or I may have him stopping way too often!
We hiked the Y two summers ago. Brynner ran up the mountain, Addi dragged up the mountain, I was surprised how out of shape I was and Sofi was carried up the mountain like a queen. She even napped. Good times!
