Our house is sold!

. . . well almost. After our buyer made an offer, we counter offered so that we wouldn't have to come up with $5000 and she accepted! YEAH! She signed papers at the beginning of last week, and since then we have had a home inspection, a termite inspection, and the appraisal. Thank goodness we have no termites, and only a few things to fix up, which included trimming our orange trees away from the house. That made me really sad (I like my orange trees) and I almost can't stomach the carnage in my yard. Besides that, things are really moving along smoothly and hopefully we will have a done deal in a week or two and then just wait for our closing date which is on July 25. We should know in the next day or two how the appraisal went.

Also this week, Nani will be getting some bling on her teeth. She is going in tomorrow to get a silver crown on one of her molars, and then a few fillings. Being that she is 3, they don't dare try doing it in the office, so she gets to go under anesthesia again. We get to go through the whole fasting thing again, but luckily she is the first patient of the day, so hopefully it won't be too bad. A few years ago Za Za got a silver tooth and Nani thinks its pretty cool. She is actually looking forward to having some bling, I just hope she won't be in a whole lot of pain. Just a side note, when we went into see the dentist and get x-rays, the tech told my kids that they needed to brush to 2 minutes without toothpaste, and then put toothpaste on and brush for another minute. It makes sense because there is more contact between the brush and the teeth. My kids remind me now to not put their toothpaste on, until after they "pre-brush". I need a timer or something in my bathroom, because 2 minutes to a kid is really like 30 seconds.
