morning madness

So Monday morning we missed the bus and so while walking back home, JR has a meltdown. When we got home I told the kids to go brush their teeth and I wanted to do the same so I went to my bathroom and they went to theirs. About 10 minutes later I called to them and told them to get in the van. JR was out the door in no time, but I didn't even hear Za Za. Well you know when it is too quiet. I walked down the hall to see her in the bathroom standing in front of the mirror with her face completely covered with Desitin (diaper cream). She had it on the back of her hands too and was trying to wash it off with water, as you know doesn't work. It was seriously like 10 min till school started and we still had to drive, and here she is covered in cream and her clothes were a mess. I should have taken a picture but I decided I had better get them to school. So I quickly wiped the Desitin off with soapy washcloth and her face was still a shade paler than normal and she had big red circles under her eyes. So while I am cleaning Za Za up, I look over at Nani and she is smearing cream all over her face too! AHHH! So wiped off the worst on Nani and ran out the door and we made it to school just in time. I took this picture right after we got home, just as a mild reminder of my crazy morning!
