We studied Christopher Columbus for school last month. Among other facts, we learned that he died relatively young (55 I think. Hey it's been a while.) It must have been a few weeks after that lesson that somehow we were talking about Columbus again when Annie remembered his age and somehow made the connection that her Grandma was older than Columbus was when he died. Feeling rather proud of her discovery, she stated, "Marmy is older than Christopher Columbus!" We couldn't help but laugh at that one.

Annie is correct, at times I feel older than Columbus!
