As part of our bird unit, we made a bird feeder out of a soda bottle and a few bamboo skewers.
To our delight we have seen a few birds at our feeders.
I'm not sure what kind of birds these are, but it was fun to watch them from our dining room window.
We also did an experiment with boiled and raw eggs soaked in vinegar.
The shell completely dissolved!
The raw egg was still squishy inside, but we could hold it and even tried to bounce it a little bit.
It actually bounced!
