This morning during our scramble to get out the door, I managed to make some Cream of Wheat (we call it "lumps" because I make it extra lumpy).
The bowls were on the table and the children were making their way to the table just as I was dishing up the lumpy breakfast.
Just then Nani looks and me and in a sad voice says, "I don't want any mashed potatoes for breakfast, I want Life."
I couldn't help but laugh and so did her brother and sister.
We explained that it wasn't mashed potatoes, but one of her favorites, Lumps!
It didn't help much, so I spiced things up by pulling out the ice cream to put in our hot cereal.
This is like a once a year treat for our family, and it is so yummy!
But even with ice cream sitting in front of her, Nani was still frowning. Maybe next year:)

Those aren't our bowls of cream of wheat nor our bowl of ice-cream. This is false advertising. What Crystal didn't tell everybody was that I didn't have "lumps" for breakfast but I sure did have ICE-cream. Sincerely, Will
