Our birthday girl started her day with a fancy dish of "lumps" (lumpy cream of wheat), with chocolate ice cream. Don't knock it until you've tried it. I personally prefer a fruity flavored ice cream. We ate this occasionally growing up as a treat, or when we ran out of milk.
Then she got to go on a special date with her Daddy to get an ice cream at Coldstone. (It was free! Sign up on their website.) After the second helping of ice cream, they went to Cabella's to check out the shooting range, and picked up a soda on the way home.
Then came the time to open presents. This is a container of Lego's that JR generously decided to re-gift to his sister. He painstakingly sorted all his Legos and these were the "different" ones.
And here is a little treasure box from Grandma Brewer.
Gotta love the intensity!
And the smiles!
Oh the simple joys!
And here is me, talking on the phone during it all.
More little goodies from Grandma Brewer.
And of course JR had to pull out his pocket knife to help open the Barbie.
Finally a bike that fits . . . .
And a really yummy cake!
Happy Birthday Za Za!

Being a Brewer I'm just curious, Who's Grandma Brewer?
