We had a fun ward campout a few weeks ago despite the spiders, ants, spiders, flies, spiders, and other creepy crawly things and a few spiders. Nani fell in the small stream soon after we arrived and thankfully I had packed extra clothes and shoes.
It's never fun to sleep outside in the cold really, especially when your childrens air mattress deflates in the middle of the night, and you toss and turn all night wondering if the poor dears are going to be warm.
But that's what camping is all about right?
And the spiders, did I mention the spiders? They are everywhere!
ZaZa came home the other day from school claiming that there were black widows on the playground and that they came from the forest behind the school. I'm not so sure about the validity of that story, but one thing is for sure, Utah has TONS OF SPIDERS!
