This last weekend we went up to visit my Mom again. We took a picnic lunch and headed out to the Mogollon Rim lookout. While brushing up on our nature vocabulary, we were telling JR about the different trees in the area. Later that evening when Will came home, JR was telling him about all of the fun things he saw including the new tree that he learned about. He couldn't quite remember the name.
JR: "and there was one that was called the Alligator Jalupa."
Mom: "Did you just say Alligator Chalupa?"
JR: "Yeah the Alligator Jalupa."
Mom "You mean the Alligator Juniper, right?"
