We rang in the new year eating delicious tamales that we had made earlier in the day. The kids LOVED it, as you can see! We thought that their their interest would last about 10-15 min, but oh no, they stuck with it till the end. Then we had to drag them away from it. I took the leftover masa to the counter, and Za Za kept on going, making a masa-less tamale. I was doing my best to to quality control, but I'm sure there were a few that slipped by with who knows what in them. What a fun tradition we have tried to keep going. Hopefully next year we will be able to do it again.
