Veterans Parade

Yesterday we went to the Veterans parade. I must say, parades never get old for me. I love them! Well despite the heat (come on it's November!), it was great. My absolute favorite part is the marching bands. I just can't get enough of the drum line. When I am bored I go to BYU's band site and listen to the drum line. Fun Fun!
I was grateful for the flags they handed out, but I wish the would have kept the rest. Za Za took her bumper sticker and put it on her shirt, then on her mouth.

And talk about candy, they loaded up again! As if we didn't have enough already from Halloween. But over all I am glad to have been a part of honoring our Veterans. I always get a little teary eyed when they play the patriotic songs and when the flag goes by. I hope my kids feel it too.
