So on Labor Day we decided to take a little trip to Mt.
Lemmon with the Parents. Here is a lookout to the valley below.

It was amazing to watch the landscape change so fast . We went from cactus to pine trees in about a 1/2 hour.

We stopped on the side of the road to look out on the north east side of the mountain, and we could see a lot of the fire damage from a few years ago. There were signs everywhere telling people to stay off the slopes because there are so many new
seedings growing.

JR and
Za Za were in so excited to get out in the stinking fresh air!

We stopped along a little stream that ran on the top of the mountain. There were tons of people who had just come up for the day to picnic. This little pool of water was actually quite deep. I think it would have gone over the kids heads.

Nani just being cute as always.

On the north side of the mountain is a little ski area. You could ride the lift up and back down the mountain for an outrageous price. So we just enjoyed the view, I'm not much for heights anyway.

Beautiful pictures!
I'll try to remember to call so we can talk, but I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you! Things are crazy here... Anyway, I'd love for you to watch our little guy! But I've already arranged for my sister-in-law, Jenn, to watch him. Her husband is starting medical school soon and they really need the money too (not that she's getting much from a part-time teacher!) Would you be available if I needed you on days when Jenn couldn't watch him? She's due to have a baby in January and I'll need someone then for sure!
Don't know if I'm going to teach private piano lessons now that I'm going back part-time. Just bad new all around, but I love ya!
